Please don't take offense, but the Intercept is an absolutely awful phone (painfully bad screen resolution, very slow processor and many apps force close for no apparent reason). It's really not worth paying someone to flash it.

no worries, this phone is why i left sprint i had a transform and had it replaced about 4 times and was given the intercept instead BAD CHOICE, i dont like it either but figured since i already have it might as well use it since i like it better than the other boost droids but oh well thanks anyway.... quick question any idea if the EVO 4G shift will work?

All of the Sprint Android phones will need an MEID modification to work on Boost. (Watch out for Motorolas, they're usually difficult or impossible to work with)

Folks - I need help! I had two Palm Treos on Boost that I wanted to migrate to HTC Touch Pro 2s. One of them went perfectly (and that TP2 was running WM 6.1). The other one, the rep gave me a ##XXXXXX# code along with the mdn and msid I should enter, but my TP2 (this runs WM 6.5) is not responding to the code he gave. I tried Getspc and used that to verify the code, and that gives me a different code that what the rep gave me. But, either of them don't do anything when I type it in. How do I make forward progress (if at all possible?). Thanks so much in advance - hope you folks can help me out.

Edit - The problem with the other phone (which I wasn't able to get the ## codes working was that it wasn't provisioned with any carrier). I initially provisioned with sprint, and now the ## codes work and I was able to change the MDN and MSIDs.

But, internet is not working on either. On the 6.1 phone, the "either your plan does not include wireless web" appears, and on the 6.5 phone, a blank screen appears with nothing. Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks kearnej. I updated it to 6.5, and now data works as long as I use opera mini. I read on the other threads that the free internet days are over (since I always use opera mini and youtube and the like rarely never realized that). I am on a grandfatheredplan for 10c a minute. I don't see the option for 35c data, only the 50c data per day. If I call boost and ask them to give me the 35c data, were folks successful in getting it? And if you do get it, will it only be charged on the days I use data?

    Thanks again!

yeah when i used tp2 i was on .10 cent min call and .35 a day web......... i used it mostly as a wifi router for my laptop.......... google 'htc windows phone wifi router' for that download... set up your account on boostmobile.com and you can add web or pay the $50 unlim...... its worth paying the daily web then you can use other browsers.... i was using opera10 and Bolt browser................ but Sprint 3g is so slow these days(and that is the network Boost uses) I just switched to the EVO 4g with Sprint which i tether to my laptop.

Thanks. So is the 35c/min option still available? And, is it only charged on the days I use it?
