My wife's Verizon Blitz phone suddenly started displaying a solid white screen. After removing the battery and power cycling the phone I get alternating between the "Verizon Wireless" boot screen and a message that says "Please wait, restoring user data." The phone did not get wet or anything, it just started doing this. The phone is out of warranty. Is there anything that can be done? Or is it toast?

try conneting it to a comm port with a cable to the computer and see if it responds on the computer with communication ... if it does you could posibly do a firmware flash and restore the phone so long as its not a hardware problem
