Engadgets video playback tests said it played 1080p video perfectly.
What are your video sources?
What we can tell you now is that both handsets chewed through the 1080p clip with ease and that both gave results we have no hesitation in describing as sublime.
Anyone else experiencing poor video playback? The same movies and trailers that were crystal clear on my 3G are blurry and fuzzy on the Iphone 4.
Did you re encode the videos to play on the higher resolution screen? If you used the same low resolution that looked perfect on the 3G or re encoded those low res movies to a higher res, they are going to look like you have described on the iP4.

After I posted this, I thought maybe it had to with the HD aspect of the phone. Any personal recommendations to re-encode?? I had been using Aimersoft to convert my vid clips to iphone format. I don't think it's been updated. Thanks for the feedback
I use Xmedia Recode. it's free and does a good job. It has custom settings and also pre configured settings. No settings for iP4 yet but it does have them for iPad.
EDIT: Sorry, it says "free" at the start of the page, but "buy" at the end!

Thanks for those recommendations. The Daniusoft converter looks nice, but I don't know if I want to spend $35.00 for a program that doesn;t appear to have any customer reviews. Maybe others here have used and can give me an opinion? I don't mind spending the money, just want to spend it wisley
