Hi I have a Sony Ericsson W508A that was purchased outright from Telstra and was definintely not prepaid and I want to give the phone to my Aunty. However when she puts her Malaysian SIM card into the phone it says, "Insert Correct SIM Card". We have tried her sim in one of our other Nokia phones and its working perfectly.

Does anyone know what may be the issue? We have taken it to a Telstra shop and they have advised that it is not a prepaid phone and is not locked to the Telstra network.
