Samsung Captivate for AT&T

i was wondering what people thought about this phone, and do you think it's worth getting ? I think it might be better than the few Android phones that at&t has so far ( backflip,HTC Aria ) .

yeah it's definitely going to be the best Android AT&T has, but my main question is WHY NO LED FLASH on the camera? Samsung, do you want to fail?

The camera has a "night mode" feature. There is no need for a flash.

yeah i saw some pics on XDA forums that showed the night mode pics and flash really isn't needed.. But I have to say IMO AT&T's version is the ugliest of the bunch. I like the Tmobile and Verizon versions better

they need to hurry up and put this phone out, i think this phone will be a turning point for AT&T and their Android phones .

I think Captivate is actually the best looking. The others look too much like the outgoing iPhone.

I heard some rumors today that it looks like the week of July 15? Same time frame as the Verizon Droid X...

to me the Captivate looks exactly like the sony x10, which i'm not fond of either. I guess it's just personal preference

when the Captivate finally comes out , i'll check it out and make sure it's not just a piece of plastic. I find myself very interested in this phone or the LG LU2300.

WTF, can't they release this to capitalize on the iPhone lack of availability/signal issues? Where is it? Where are the unlocked ones with AT&T 3G bands.

from what it seems like , the Captivate isn't crippled by AT&T like they did the Backflip and the HTC Aria .. which should help AT&T with their Android phones later on down the line. I didn't want either of those 2 as bad as i want the Captivate though.
