use ATT phone sim card in unlocked Tmobile umg181 usb webconnect card?

I have a tmobile umg181, i could purchase an unlock code.
Would an ATT sim card that works in a mobile phone with internet work on the umg181?
if so is there is any aditional steps?
i tried searching couldn't find anything.

I've used an AT&T sim in my UMG181, and it works make calls and send/receive sms... but I don't have an AT&T data plan so I could not try data. It seems like data should work too, though you probably wouldn't get 3g.

You definitely would not get 3G. You would be stuck on Edge. Different frequencies.

You will not be able to use AT&T's 3G network with the umg181. T-mobile's 3G (and its 3G devices) run in the AWS band; AT&T's 3G runs in the Cellular and PCS bands.

however, the umg181 supports AT&T's 2G network (not very fast; quite slow actually)

Well you can use it like a modem... though I never got the voice to work. So I can dial or answer calls (and use up minutes! ) but can't say or hear anything.
