I wish I knew how I got the numeric cellular and WiFi to display on my date bar. It seemed to show up after I did a restore from my backup. If I touch either one, they toggle to the bars on the left, or the arches on the right of the carrier name.

Any ideas?

Did you jailbreak your previous phone?

Yes I know weather is mis-spelled. It only allows you so many characters and I wanted the umbrella.

I did use Spirit to jailbreak my 3Gs. I am surprised that it would alter a file that iTunes would backup and then restore to my new 4 though.

Any idea what that modification might be?

I do like having the numeric signal strength for cellular and WiFi, but if I were to need to go to the Genius Bar, they might claim I had voided the warranty by installing an altered OS. If I knew what changed it, I might be able to change it back if need be.

Yes I did and I have 2 pages of blank icons, I am so happy those carried over, completely unexpected.

Here's the wallpaper, I also have just the shelves that you can use as an overlay. I'll post those when I return to that computer later this week.

Many things like changes to the status bar and the addition of blank icons may carry over to a non-jailbroken phone when it is restored from a jailbroken iPhone's back up. To correct it, you'd have to wait until a j/b is released for the iPhone 4 and use the appropriate tools or just restore the phone and set it up as new rather than restoring from your j/b'd back-up.

If you ever need to take it in to Apple for warranty replacement, it is suggested that you restore the phone as new first. No remnants of the j/b will remain until you re-restore it from the jailbroken backup, which you wouldn't do until you got your replacement from Apple.
