K I'm not to handy with GSM. But I had a guy call me today that just got a mytouch 3G Slide. He upgraded from the mytouch 3G. Question is he has some apps and bookmarks he wants to keep. What program or how would a guy about taking apps off the 3G and put them on the Slide? I know on the CDMA phones you can use BitPim or activsync to move apps is there a program like this for GSM?
I know a little on CDMA can Flash and Unlock so if this is possible i'm sure I can pull it off.

I've climbed a cellphone tower
I have used mybackup pro to back up my apps, settings, sms history and bookmarks to the sd card (optional backup to the cloud) Then all I have to do is move the sd card to the new android phone and everything moves with the card. I did have a couple of applications that did not work after moving from the G1 to the Slide, but I just reset the phone to default and everything was fine.
