flrjr42501 thank you for the link for applications I can't wait to try some of them out. I would also like to find a compatible headset for the phone to use the FM radio it would have been a plus if they would have put a normal headset jack in it. Enjoy the day everyone.
Cell phone geek girl yes I have alot of phones!!!

i might return my r451c to walmart for the new t401g, because verizon and at&t have about the same amount of coverage in my area. and i was dying to find a phone like that with java actually enabled
The Walmart website does not show any GSM ST phones, I entered numerous zip codes across the country on the ST website and did not see any GSM phones for sale. I tried a zip in eastern KY (Bowling Green)-- a no coverage on Verizon prepaid area and it said ST does not activate service in that area-- though it's well covered by GSM service.
I can't find any chatter anyplace except in this thread about ST offering GSM. Yeah I know, some people claim here they have GSM phones activated on ST. Oh, and that picture of the GSM phone in an ST package someone posted-- did anyone hear of a little program called Photoshop....
Maybe I'm wrong and they are offering GSM-- but I sure can't find any persuasive evidence at this point. If you've got some-- or even a link, as my favorite football player Rod Tidwell said, "Show me the money..."

jerry maguire, overrated but has many quotes.
anyway, i also did think it was weird that there were no gsm phones on the ST website or walmart. and i also googled it and there was no announcement.
which definately begs the question, why would someone start this rumor? in my opinion that picture does not look photo shopped. and i honestly hope its not since i hear that the t401g has a little more freedom then its counterpart (with the fact you can actually use java on it).

Yea, I've heard of Photoshop. I have a pretty good rep on these boards for presenting the facts (you can ask almost anyone). What I posted is FACT, not FICTION. Why not look through the thread and see the pics someone posted of the LG 620G ( a GSM phone, by the way). Oh, maybe they Photoshopped that, too.
Proud to be named the 13th man for the Vermont Frost Heaves, for their home game on 2-16-2007 against the Maryland Nighthawks.
Our feedback about Verizon Wireless agents as Verizon Wireless Prepay customers is: they are pointless to us.
I made a little Youtube Video for everybody's pleasure. Its not the best I made it with my digital camera's camcorder. Im not a movie producer so cut me some slack. The link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CyDgkjq6RA
Im not 100% sure but more than likely it is. I did try my sim in an AT&T phone and it wanted an unlock code. I dont have any unlocked phones to play with, but I have friends that do. I will get one soon and give it a try.
The Wally Mart here has the GSM phones (401G). I like to change phone every other day and it would be nice if the SIM would work on another GSM ST phone without having to do a # change online. I would go from one GSM ST phone to another GSM ST phone (you know..i want to use keyboard phone one day and maybe a filp or a slider the next ) lol. Make sense?
