Obviously everyone prefers it. VZW is better, and CDMA is as well. I have a sinking feeling this may be a Verizon tightening the strings kind of deal.
except for the one redeeming factor that java actually works on the t401g, which im willing to give up my r451c since both vzw and att networks are pretty much the same in my area.
all i no joe last wk i seen the pic of the t401g on sts fb page something about gms..iwas curious tryed it ...im going to wait and see what wally comes up with next.......i was goin to get he 620g when i took back the 401 but they were sold out.....its a waiting game..
I've had the GSM slider phone and after having mine for less then a week Im not pleased with the service.. I can be sitting in one area not moving and my bars can go from all bars to no bars to a x It drops calls and roams out of the clear blue one minute service then roaming. This phone will be going back to the store next month when the service runs out they say its At&t coverage but i've had att phones and the coverage is nothing like this.

The last time I had Tmobile it wouldn't even connect in my house Straight talk told me it was At&t and Cingular I didn't even know they had Cingular anymore it doesn't work good at all.
Well, maybe it's personal preference, or the phone or reception you've had, but Qualcomm at its best is muddy and indistinct compared to...actually any other phone system I'm aware of. It may just be because it's using a lower bit rate than anything else.
It could be a bad phone, or it could be AT&T in your area. I don't have problems like that with mine. AT&T has had some network problems here and there across the U.S. They had a big outage in Lexington,KY a few days ago it was even on the news. One of my friends had problems with his AT&T phone for a bit yesterday. There was one tower out on the southside of town. I believe he still had signal, just weaker than ususal in his area.
well people...i just had a interesting time on the phone with exec resolutions.listen to this.yesterday i took the t401g back walmart b4 porting my # back to the r451 then st told me that it would be impossible to get back my#...wrong.!!!.this morning i called exec resolutions rasing hell..they took my info..3hrs later they called me back..now i have back my old#...2lessons i learn here,dont return a fone b4 porting ur#..and dont believe everything st tells you..2or3 months ago i forgot 2buy a card and st deactivated my fone so i bought a new card and they turned my fone back on with the same #...lastnite i remember that so i new my old # could be retrieved..it just needed to be done by the big boys @tracfone...when i get paid,im going to buy a new t401g and sit on it for while,because they are flying off the shelves and ill have one just in case...

im trying something different..changed xhml to wml.
