Questions regarding the LG 620G: how do you turn on the speakerphone? Also, is there an easy way to adjust volume level? I hesitate to activate this phone if these features do not exist (although the box says it has hands free speaker but doesn't say how to activate it). Thanks.

When you are on a call you just have to hit the center directional button. That turns the speakerphone on/off. The in call volume is controled with the up/down direction buttons.

As soon as ST gets past having WalMart stores the exclusive provider of the GSM phones they will put up a user manuel & Tutorials on their web site.

I am not typing manuels twice its being inserted by HOFO and I cannot remove it..

I will vouch for Sweeper, although since multiple people have confirmed the GSM ST phones it is probably unnecessary. I can't even think of a mistake from Sweeper, and I know him from multiple forums and have seen his posts almost since he started here.

I'm only seeing manuel once in the original sentence(although your choice of spelling is odd, manual is a book of instructions, Manuel is the name of a male Latin American.)

When I look at my post I see it twice, but in your post its only there once in the quote of what I said. What is strange is I didn`t type it twice. I go back and edit it out and it shows up again. I go back to re-edit and remove the whole sentence and re-type it and it shows up twice again. So I give up trying to fix it.

Sorry about my spelling, I should go slower and get the sound alikes spelled correctly.

The model number has P4 in it indicating an AT&T SIM card.

I went and bought a 401g for an upgrade to my LG620G. Got it home, called straighttalk and tried to get my balance and phone number switched to it, and guess what. They told me they coulnd do it without a service card! They said with the GSM phones that they can move a partial balance. I still had about two and a half weeks left on mine. They said they can move one without a service card if the account had been refilled within the last 24 hrs. So needlesss to say this miffed me and I returned the 401g to my walmart and got a refund. Then I went over to the AT&T store next to walmart and signed up for Gophone service. I bought an LG Prime Touchscreen phone for 99.99 and it came with $50.00 in airtime so really I paid 49.99 for a touchscreen phone.
