Emails not pushing (both exchange and Gmail)

Hi everyone,

I am using a 3GS with iOS 4. I've set up both my gmail and my exchange mail. My Exchange mail is not pushing. I went through it with customer support for my hosted exchange (and I did install the profile fix that Apple sent out) and nothing is fixing this.

Any solutions or suggestions?

There's a patch or profile issued by Apple to help with Exchange syncing if you are having problems...

how did you set up the exchange server? i assume for your work email?

I've applied that patch and no luck. I can retrieve emails manually, but they're not pushed.

LVDon - I actually use a hosted exchange service. I went through the steps to set up the exchange server with them and it seemed to set up ok but no emails will push through and we're kind of at a loss as to why.

push for me works perfectly... my work uses outlook/exchange 2007...

I managed to get it sorted out. I use a hosted exchange and fortunately the company has great customer service and worked it out with me. Push is working for Exchange now. I'm loving the iPhone so far now that Exchange is functioning properly. Had I not been able to get it to do so, I would've had to reconsider the device, but alas all seems well.

when i set up my gmail account for push and used the directions from Google, so the account was set up as an exchange account and so on. my emails were terribly slow and it took forever to update deleted items. i just set it back up as a "normal" gmail account and had it manually check every 15min and thats been working great for me

Push works fine for me with Gmail and MobileMe.

PUSH makes me want to PULL my hair out! I don't use it.

PUSH only works about 10 % of the time for me. Always has. I have a Yahoo Account. I finally turned off PUSH and have to check my email manually. That really sucks!
