I noticed on swype when it does mess up the outline of the keyboard turns blue, Need to dig around to see what that means.

I used slide it until I purchased it at the new years sale price, kept getting symbols in place of words. Totally different program than the trial version.

I'm using K-9 mail app. Works great and you can select all before deleting.

I liked K-9 Mail when I tried it but couldn't live without threaded Gmail -- that and the ability to star items is nice.

I've updated my phone to Froyo, and am going through it trying to set things the way they were before the update....but for the life of me, I can't remember how I got my city and weather to show up on the home screen (as part of the Sense clock/weather widget). I went into the weather app and typed in my city's name, but the list it searches through is very limited (mostly international cities?). Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    POP3 App?

Anyone using a decent POP3 APP on 2.2 (desire)?
The stock app still isn't refreshing properly for me after updating.
I've set 'PEAK' to 12am - 11:58pm and set the interval to 10mins.
    Still no joy.

    Thanks,
    _mr

Also, Meganoid. A great 8-bit game in the spirit of the NES. The developers are always adding levels and features. I highly recommend it.

SwiftKey is the free app today, and I am really liking it's predictive text.

I've been using SwiftKey since it was still in Beta, it's by far my favorite keyboard. The fact it has a numeric keypad makes typing numbers much easier, and it is amazing how predictive the keyboard is. I can usually type half a conversation by just pressing the first letter of the word and then choosing the word. And it learns by scanning your texts for your way of typing. Worth checking out.
