Facebook crashing suddenly on ios4 3gs

Was loading facebook today and the app crashed. Shutting down and restarting didn't fix it. Wanted to know if anyone else was encountering a problem during the app start up before I wasted my time deleting, then reinstalling the app, only to see it occur again?

I have had issues with FB crashing ever since the iPhone 3G. I hope they get that prob fixed.

Mine started doing it today but I can avoid the crash if I hit the menu button right away instead of waiting for the news feed to load

Same thing happened to me last night on Iphone 4. But this morning it was fine.

But I have had occurrences where other apps would also crash from time to time.

Very weird.

This has also happened on my Iphone 3G.

Same thing here. Last night facebook would not even remain open for 20 seconds before it crashed. Today everything is running smoothly.

mine isn't crashing but i'm getting a different issue.

i'm getting push notifications that a person has written on my wall but i don't know this person and they're not on my friends list.

i check the notifications area and nothing shows up there. really weird. i have a 3gs w/ ios4.

anybody else?

I'm not having any Facebook issues at all on my 3GS, using iOS4.

Likely caused by temporary changes they were making.

Seems to be fine now. Mustve been a temp glitch.
