USCC Offer Android Family Data Plan?

Probably a dumb question, but is there a FAMILY plan you can get for 2+ Android phones? Both my wife & I would like one, but I'm having a little heart burn ponying up $60/mo for data alone.

And I am correct to understand the data plan DOES NOT include unlimited messaging? I thought the BB plans did give you that, which seems odd to me the Android plans wouldn't.
LG Glimmer...the phone I really wanted to love, but was forced to hate.

No family data, and none of the data plans include any messaging, except for the Unlimited Messaging and Mobile Internet plans, which are for dumbphones only.

That's what I figured, but figured it was worth asking. It would be cool if there was such a thing though. It'd probably help get more business.

And just curious, but did the older BB data plans have free messaging? I've been on a company (AT&T) paid plan for a little over 2 years but when I had my BB with USCC, I seem to recall that being included. Maybe I'm losing my mind.

I'm on the older BB data plan right now and we did not get free messaging.

Maybe the OP is thinking of BBM.

It's not. And that's just one of the "bundles" being offered. It doesn't save any money compared to the normal offer for that plan (Unlimited voice/messaging/data).

Most likely. That's the only "free messaging" that has ever been offered with a data plan.

Although with any smart phone you can download the messaging application of your choosing. So you could probably consider those "free messaging" in the same way.

True. But that's Instant Messaging (Y!IM, Google Talk, AIM, etc.), not text messaging.

If I had to categorize BBM, I would put it in the Instant Messaging category before the SMS category. It does so much more than SMS, has status updating, has a picture, can transfer media, etc.

    Agreed, it's 100% data.
