In the LG420 - how do you capitalize the first letter of a word? Is there a key to toggle to make that happen?

Repeat push the Star key. You will see a box in the LCD display toggle from Abc abc ABC 123, although not necessarily in that order. Abc caps the first letter, abc is all lower case, ABC is all upper case, 123 is numerical.

To enter a space, repeat push the 0 (zero) key to the third item, a square U (or underscore.)

Most phones have an "up arraow" icon on the "#" key.
