Both logos are fine (A and B), and clearly convey what HoFo is all about. You'll probably see that eventually you will need to use both versions of it, depending on what the background colour is that you print it on. i.e. on a blue background, you won't see the "balloon" of the "A" version.

But then again, I was fine with the previous one you showed. I am a firm believer that deciding on a logo always attracts a lot more energy than is needed. Someone will always on like one, while others will hate it, that's just human nature...

I'm not sure what logo contest really entails, but I know we have creative members on this board.
Note that a contest can take weeks to determine a winner.

There's a lot of talent out there and it's always interesting to see some of the things people come up with - bad or good.

Yes, people will never agree on what they like the best. A logo design contest is something fun though that let's people feel like they are more part of the community here. They may decide to go with one of their own designs in the end regardless, but why not have a bit of fun with it.

Completely agree. For that reason I voted C. I also think these designs should be an option in the end, but a contest would be a really great way to get the HoFo community involved. Plus I bet it will generate an onslaught of sweet logos!
