1. I got mine this morning and was disappointed to receive a Class 2 16GB card. I thought it was supposed to come with a Class 4? Reception seems very slightly worse than Droid 1. The speaker during Navigation is not loud enough. Other than that, it's pretty darn nice.
2. Does anyone remember the name of the app that allows you to share a list of installed apps? [edit.. AppBrain is what I was trying to think of.]

Reason: update
I purchased a black rubberized case and a screen protector for 10bucks on ebay. But the screen protector is just temp until BoxWave makes um for us. Their AntiGlare screens are awesome
Looks like mine is running .516 as well. OTA update says phone is up to date.
The sales reps at the store I went to were nice enough to put the UPC and the rebate form in an already addressed envelope. All I have to do is put a stamp on it and send it out.
You mean they didn't stamp it for you too???
Of course you know that with the UPC cut from the box you will not be able to return the phone for a refund or exchange the phone for somethig else if you happen to not like it.
They had two display X phones at the store. I tried one. The display seemed brighter than my Droid, when both were on autobrightness. Any comments on that FAUguy and others? The phone seemed responsive enough, with lots of apps I did not recognize. I had problems using the keyboard in portrait.
Yes, with the Droid and Droid X set to Auto Brightness, the X will be a bit brighter. If you manually set both to max brightness level, the X is aslo brighter between the two.

They told me I could return the phone for a full refund minus $100 for the rebate and $35 for the restocking fee. In the 12 years I've been a vzw customer, I've never returned a phone for a refund/exchange, so I'm not worried.
Everytime you don't read the thread before asking your silly question, Verizon delays a new cellphone. Yes, Verizon did just robbed you.
HAHAHAHA! yeah I'm laughing at you!
Well I found out my NE2 is available now and not in a few months like they told me. So I ordered mine about two hours ago. Says my order was processed and will ship based on Availability
Did anyone else who ordered online just after midnight with status showing as processed also check the option to have everything billed to their account? I'm afraid that might be why mine hasn't shipped yet. That would really suck to pay $8.99 for overnight and not get the phone tomorrow.
Got mine this morning before the store opened as arranged. (I think the guy waiting in the truck outside was wondering how I got inside early.)
And no mail-in rebate card. Phone came up at $199 in the system. The rep thought that was strange, but we rolled with it. I actually would have been better off with the rebate, because I ended up applying my NE2, and saving the company $50. Oh well, they'll just have to buy me more accessories!!!
Does your reciept say anything about a rebate or instant rebate being applied? If not you could still try and do the mail in rebate, just stop by any store and ask for the rebate form.

The two that I have used came with a no-name Class 4 16GB card that just says "Japan" on it. Does your Class 2 card have a name on it like SanDisk?
We need more people to chime in if their SD card is a Class 2 or 4.
I could be wrong but I thought that the list of apps was like a 3-D cube? Is this just in Froyo or does the update that we havent received yet add this? Its really not that important but I thought I remembered seeing it somewhere.
Mine says it's on 516 and up to date as well. I'm still up in the air as to whether to update (when it's available) or wait to see if root is dependent on a specific software version.

On the receipt is printed "REB80851 (Rebate NOT Eligible)" Nice idea, though.
In case anyone is wondering, the receipt also states 1-year warranty (but I used my Amex Gold card, so I'm good for two).
