    Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email.

    Yes...most likely there is a link at the bottom that says view desktop or full site. Usually. Depends on the site of course.

    I installed the .604 update, and still have the occasional flicker. I dont even want to call VZW because I just dont want to deal with explaining the whole situation over again lol. I can totally see them just being like "what are you talking about" lol. The flicker is definitely a hardware issue, and if the replacement phone I get has the same issue, I think that proves it even more. Anyways, there's your update FAU. Thanks!

    has anyone tried going to a local walmart to get the droid x ?? the have them for the $199 price that verizon online has them !! no mail in rebate !!

    I was pretty sure it was an issue with the hardware TFT, not the software.

    I ordered mine yesterday. First it said "check back tomorrow". A few hours later it said: "Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email. " That's what it still says today.

    Ordered mine this past Saturday online and it has been shipped today, being overnighted for tomorrow. Only problem is I'm not at home during the day and there isn't really a place for Fedex to set my package... Guess I'll pick it up from the facility.

    Except that the dinc has been pushed back how many times ? and the x has been pushed from the July 27 to Aug. 3 . I don't think its just leeway . I'm not saying that it means anything other than bad planning somewhere , but it would be nice to have one positive hope about them (verizon) syncing the ship dates of these phones

    I don't think we're going to see the same shortage in the X as we are seeing with the Incredible. The Incredible shortage is mainly because of the AMOLED screen shortage and the subsequent switch to TFT screens. That is probably the equivalent of an in development hardware change that delays the launch of a phone. The X is just seeing a high initial demand, and while current delivery dates are being pushed back, that doesn't mean that there aren't phones being delivered.

    I'm beginning to become frustrated as well. I purchased my phone via telesales at 6:15pm EST. I just got off the phone and the order is still in the "processed" phase. There just isn't any inventory to be shipped out. It aggravates me because VZW specifically had a press release stating that supply wouldn't be an issue, and it's already been pushed back from the 23rd to the 27th to the 3rd of August. That means if I get a dud, I'll have to wait two more weeks or longer for the replacement at the rate things are going. That just shouldn't be.

    Has anyone that has ordered this phone after 2:30pm EST on the 15th (launch day) either online or via telesales had their order ship yet? It would be comforting to know there is a chance it will ship early.

    Many people have gotten phones since then. I ordered mine online on the 15th at 7:45pm PST/10:45pm EST when there was an estimated ship date of the 23rd. It got shipped the 16th and I received it Monday morning. Other people who ordered after me have gotten their phones already too. While I can't tell you that you will get your phone early, at least so far, most people have gotten their phone well ahead of the ship by date. Of course, there are a few frustrated people who have posted here about their phone getting delayed, so that can always happen for any given order as well.

    No it has not shipped yet. I called vzw a few minutes ago to double check. Reason I called was because the last I ordered a phone via online, it was delivered the next day, but when I checked the status on line it still stated my order was processing.....and that message stayed like that for 3 weeks. My droid x is being delivered to my work...my secretary will be signing for it.
