Do any of the current leather pouches (that close and have a belt clip/loop) fit the x with a silicone case?
I have an Amzer case + skin combo. (http://www.amzer.com/Amzer-Silicone-...oon-P88736.htm) Fit and finish of the pouch isn't overly impressive and time will tell if it is durable. But the phone with their silicone case fits well. The silicone case itself fits the phone very well.
Also, has anyone tested the level of response of the screen with or without an invisible shield? How is the screen handling scratches?
I have the Best Skins Ever screen protector. It fits the glass edge to edge and feels pretty good to the touch. It does not seem to affect screen sensitivity.

I bought the anti-glare screen "protectors" when I got mine. Touch screen works just fine, and I like the matte finish.
EDIT: After reading HankB's post, I realized the VZW protectors only cover the display area of the screen and not *all* of the glass. (I didn't install, the store rep did.) No scratches, etc. on any of the unprotected areas so far, but I don't carry it around in a pocket with keys and coins, either.
Good luck with getting that new one....With it being a new one, you're in the queue just like everyone else. At least my new replacement took about 10 days and many others are saying the same when getting a warranty replacement.
Or did you actually get a fedex tracking number or just an order number?
I have a tracking #..shows its supposed to arrive tuesday now due to inclimate weather from where its shipping from via fedex.

NO...This is the big promoting that AT&T does. My friend hyped up his IPHONE because he can talk on the phone and go on the internet at the same time. VZW does not allow this. If you try to surf the web while on a phone call it will tell you "cannot locate server" But you can text and go through your phone.

There are times that when i go to use an app that requires GPS use, be it Bar code scanner, Maps, Camera location, Carr Matey, Navigation, Where, Zillow, etc. the GPS icon just sits there and blinks. I can be outside with a clear view of the sky and it still does this. Other times it gets a fix almost instantly (indoors or out). Enable assisted GPS is on.
2 days left to bring it back to Verizon, although returning it for another smart phone really isnt what i want to do.
DO a factory reset. My GPS used to take almost 20 minutes plus to lock onto my location. After Humpa told me to do a factory reset, and then my phone locked up, i was FORCED to do a factory reset. And hell..my gps locks on almost immediatly after i click maps or navigation. The longest ive had to wait now is 15 seconds as opposed to minutes. I can actually geo tag my pictures now.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing a factory reset on this phone at least once. I used MYBACKUP app , copied everything to the SD card, and reset it. it works...but im still getting random reboots, just not as many a day
And an FYI for you facebook users..i did an update to the facebook for android app and they removed the syncing data to contacts option already so i guess it caused major issues. But since they removed that, they moto fb app syncing for some reason is much better. I dont know if they 2 apps were fighting each other. But its alot cleaner now, and i dont have 8000000 linked contacts for each contact.

What is the best calender widget to get? the one that comes on the DX sucks...smooth calender is horrible....Is the launcher pro plus calender/people widget worth the $3? Or is the "pure calendar widget" in the market place better to purchase?
Im looking for a widget that will display the entire month, rather then just the current day, and i dont have to hit settings view month. And i want it to show a stream of the upcoming events...sort of how the blackberry storm, or any blackberry "today" theme worked. I see this "Pure calendar widget" has the stream in a way but it seems "pure grid calendar widget" shows a full months widget like the launcher widgets....
Someone give me a hand here, as im sick and tired of forgetting what day or what next weeks date is because these stock calendars BLOW
EDIT* The agenda widget recommended in the apps thread works well. And shows month view rather then day view and very customizable. thanks guys!

I have the VZW holster for my Droid X and am extremely pleased with it. I can't imagine any possible way for it to scratch the DX. Nice soft "mouse skin" interior and high quality rigid leather exterior.

It was in a different thread where someone complained that the VZW holster scratched his/her phone. Also when I ordered my DX online the description stated the holster that was recommended for the DX was in fact for a Samsung Haven.. So I did NOT order it. I've used the Seidio holster for my BlackBerry® Tour™ 9630 and have been very happy with it. Just didn't want to take a chance on a generic (Samsung Haven) holster. I could have gotten the VZW holster cheaper (employee discount). I decided not to. Especially with the report of another member saying that the VZW holster scratched his/her DX.
