Ive been told I can pay and ebayer for my unlock code but I`d obviously prefer to do it myself, what software do I need to get hold of to do this?

The C3 is most likely a BB5 SL3 phone... There are no code calculators for these yet... Your best bet is to either contact your Service Provider, or call up DM3... www.dm3unlock.com

Hey bisky, I wouldn't personally pay for an unlocked C3 or unlock code. According to this Nokia C3 guide, you can call up your carrier and get one for free if you use AT&T or T-Mobile. Then you can use these steps to remove the SIM lock on your device:

1. Power ON your Nokia mobile phone without your SIM card.
2. Now type: #PW+CODE+1# (Where CODE is your Nokia unlock code)
3. Your phone should now show “SIM Restriction Off” and is unlocked.
