i have the @home service and did not realized that i could not do fax transmission with the service, but i was able to find some people posting that they did get fax transmission to work with the the unofficial firmware file: WRTU54G-TM_v1.00.24.bin. anyone know or have this file that i can get a copy of to test this out with? i've tried googling it and no luck, linksys/cisco no longer has the file listed.
i would really like to try this out to cancel my landline, any help is much appreciated.

I also heard of people able to fax with the @Home service. I tried to fax for the first time a few weeks ago and was unsuccessful. I'm not sure what firmware version I have, but suspect it is the latest.
@HOME has no fax ability. but you may try to adjust your fax machine to 2400 bps or 4800 bps, sometime it went through at very low transmit rate.
This is not true. There was firmware 1.00.24 (and possibly 1.00.25 still available on Cisco site though I have not tested) that had to be manually flashed that supported fax with an off/on option via the web GUI. Seems they never fully hashed it out as some people had no issues and others had some difficulty in making this work. Hardware setup seemed to play a big part (2nd router before or after the box).
jaymz99, did you ever locate a copy of this firmware 1.00.24 file?
I would LOVE to be able to fax through the AT Home hub...
1.00.25 doesn't support faxing - I am using it now. Will check where I saved 1.00.24 (it has been a long time and many HD ago). When I find it I will see how I can post it for you
how about open-source DD-WRT Firmware?
