Not sure about week view, but in month view, swiping up and down takes you from one month to the next.

Just checked out week view, and swiping left to right switched weeks on my X. Just using the stock Motoblur calendar.

Thanks! It's possible I never tried up and down for month, and it does work. Oddly, the side to side weekly swipe definitely did not work before, but does after a factory reset yesterday. The reset was for an unrelated issue (visual voicemail lockup).

It's weird that they made day and week view swipe left and right, but month view is up and down. Inconsistent, but at least the swipe option is there.

Well, when you swipe up and down on week view, it scrolls to show the whole day (because it doesn't all fit in the screen). There does not seem to be any logical reason month is different. It's one of those unintuitive things Android/Blur does. Maybe it's easier to go really fast that way?

hi guys, I'm getting real close to doing a hard reset to get rid of backup assistant, but I really don't want to lose everything (txt msg and what not), is there an easier solution? And is there a way for everything to be saved onto the sd card because right now i have don't know if my pics are being saved on the phone or the sd card

When I did a hard reset, I used an app that I think was called My Backup or something like that (it's in the Market). It has a 30 day or one-time use trial so that's what I did. It worked pretty well.

Not sure about where pictures are stored. I haven't found a way to CHOOSE the location on the phone, which seems really dumb. It has almost 7gb of free memory built-in, but you can't seem to designate that space for pictures.

I read this on another site, so I take no credit for it. Having issues with your lockscreen lagging? Here's a way to improve the unlock so that there is little to no lag. Go to settings->display. Turn off animations. This helps on other areas of the phone too. I notice no noticeable lag when unlocking the phone.

I originally bought widgetlocker to replace the lagging unlock screen but found WL to be somewhat buggy. It's ok, not great. IMO. This solution I posted above works great.

My Droid X has been working great since I got it several days ago but just now it was really lagging when viewing my pictures so I rebooted it and when it came back on now way over half of my pics are just GONE! That wasn't cool. Sheesh!

Are they gone, or just not showing up in Gallery?

They are completely GONE! The phone completely deleted over half the pics in each folder and ALL of my videos. Over a hundred pics... GONE! I tried to find them using usb... gone. I pulled out the sd card and can't find them using a card reader in my pc either. They are so deleted. Aarrgh! Its not supposed to do that. This is my first android device. I don't know what happened or what i should do next.

Click on the Moto icon in your taskbar when you plug your phone in. Select the option for it to not open and then it won't anymore.

I was able to recover most all of my deleted pics from the SD card using the USB connection and data recovery software. After that I ugraded the OS (2.3.15), did factory reset and re-formatted the card. I just hope something like that doesn't happen again. That almost really sucked.
