My past experience with dumbphone apps was to buy them again, then call CS and get a credit.

The app market keeps a record of all the applications you've paid for.

Everytime you don't read the thread before asking your silly question, Verizon delays a new cellphone.
Yes, Verizon did just robbed you.
HAHAHAHA! yeah I'm laughing at you!

Question: Does anyone know of an Calender app that I can set to have a pop-up reminder appear on the home screen when an event from my Google calendar arrives? I synched G.C. to the stock calendar, but as far as I can tell, reminders will only unobtrusively pop up on the status bar at the top. If the event is set as an all-day event, then I get the reminder at 12:00am and then it disappears from my list of the next three upcoming events. I would like to be able to have something be noticeably shown until I choose to remove it.

Is there a way to only delete the missed calls? It just wants to delete all call.
    Thanks,

    Thanks,
I use Dialer One instead of the default dialer. It is more of a normal/good dialer with actual options (like T9 dialing from contacts, duh) - and you can clear the call log.

Looking for Text To Speech (SMS)

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but is it possible to have this phone read text (or email) messages to me?

I'm using Handcent and don't see it anywhere there. However, I don't recall seeing it in the stock SMS app either.

    Thanks,
    -Drew

If you long press on the message in handcent it will give you the option to speak the text.

Found out from verizon..hold power and home button while phone is powered off..brings up a triangle with an ! in it and the android guy..hit search button and it brings up a console (like in linux) where you can factory wipe the phone and start over again..Use volume rockers to move up and down...very handy for anyone who may feel the phone is bricked. Or incase you need to load something directly from SD card to phone

This is of course if your phone locks up and you cant get past the red droid eye start up screen like mine did..or else you can just reset it from the phone itself..and it only took less than 2 minutes to reset. Thank god for mybackup app

Found out how to get into the car dock and home dock using a magnet. Might be helpful for people getting third party docks or those of you who want to make their own docks

Changing contact name when linking to facebook

This may have already been addressed.. Whenever I link my phone contacts to their facebook profiles it changes their original name (or the name i'm used to having them under) Anybody know how to change their contact name back to the original without having to unlink them?
