Upgrading to the iPhone 4: SIM to Micro-SIM With UNPDA?

I won't get much into the UNPDA smartphone unlimited data plan, but basically for those who don't know it's an unlimited data plan that has, I believe, been discontinued entirely for a few months now (and before that it was really hard to get anyway).

So, I'm one of the lucky few who have this plan. I don't want to lose it. I really don't.

I'm an iPhone 3GS user, and am looking to upgrade to the iPhone 4.

How is this going to go? If I go to a Bell store and take advantage of an upgrade offer bell is giving, is it just a simple switch, they break the old SIM card, give me a new microSIM and nothing is changed, almost a copy and paste of plans without the system verifying whether or not the feature should be still allowed?

And what if I buy it unlocked?

Could I take my current SIM out, cut it down some and use it in the microSIM slot totally fine and acceptably with no trouble?

Or, could I walk into a Bell store, pay $10 for a microSIM card, ask them to transfer from my current SIM, and be off to the races anyway?

Basically, am I at a huge risk of losing this feature if I upgrade? Or will Bell honour the fact I got it, fair and square, and allow me to keep it without any trouble?

    Wirelessly posted (Samsung SGH-T746 Impact: SAMSUNG-SGH-T746/T746BMIH6 SHP/VPP/R5 NetFront/3.5 SMM-MMS/1.2.0 profile/MIDP-2.1 configuration/CLDC-1.1)

Youll probably need an iPhone Specific data plan, kind of like rogers back when the 3G Launched

UNPDA works with the iPhone, so he can keep the data feature.

When the upgrade is done in store, they'll just deactivate the old SIM and activate the new micro SIM.

There isn't any reason you should lose the feature on upgrade.

just trim your current full size sime into micro sim size.. problem solved.

that being said, i guarantee it wont be an issue, it'll swap over fine. Heck you could even buy a micro sim and just swap it yourself online.

what would happen if you have the blackberry version of the unlimited data plan? would that require a change in data feature or will the bb unlimited data work on a smartphone like the iphone?
