TM506 with Cin Bell firmware not storing numbers

When I miss, receive, or dial a new phone number, I am unable to view it. Known phone numbers in my phone book it will remember though. Is this because it ran out of storage memory or something? How do I fix it so I'm able to see what calls I missed?

How much phone memory does it say is free. (Go to settings, General tab, Phone status.)


You can also turn on Ask to save, which will ask you if you want to save a new number to your contacts. By saving it, this will confirm your theory that only numbers that are in your contact list are showing up in the call list.

To turn it on, go into contacts, Options, More, Advanced,

about 2mb is free if I restart the phone. Normally it is less than 1 mb. Do I need to free up?

It doesn't sound like the memory is that low. Turn on ask to save as explained earlier and then dial a few numbers that aren't in your contact book. Say yes to saving some and no to saving others. Is it behaving like you thought where only the numbers you add to your contact book are visible in your call list?

i deleted all my camera pictures and the phone is behaving normal again

That's good. Do you have an M2 card? If you don't, I would suggest that. You can set the phone to automatically save your pictures to the M2 card and it won't clog the phone's memory.
