Thanks. I'll scour the forums to find out how to get all the features working on the 9630
    Crackberry Abuser
Sprint needs a better brand of Crack for us abusers.

All you need to do is load Deathtrip's service books for the 9630 on your phone. Look at his signature for the link.

Yeah I saw that, but BIS and PIM won't work. Looking for a fix/workaround for that.

There is no workaround for BIS or BBM. There is for push mail if you want to fool around with Shangmail.

The HTC Evo Shift only works by means of MEID altering and all the controversy that goes along with it.

I have a couple of HTC Touch Pro 2's sitting here that I used on US Cellular (a CDMA carrier). If I flash them with Sprint firmware can I activate them on Boost?

If the esn's were clear for Sprint, the only thing you would need to do is apply the MMS fix and they would work perfectly.

Requires MEID altering. Legal can of worms, etc.

Hi DT, it's been a while. Glad to see your still giving str8 answers. Now, my question is (already reading that NO new Sprint phones are comp w Boost) - do you forsee any W7 Sprint phones opening up to Boost or Boost branded W7? - why or why not?

And, would you recommend the TP2 on Boost as an android or WM6.5 (I currently have wm6.x MightyRom on Unlim w shrinkage for 2yrs now) 'cos my phone is dying and I need an upgrade. But seeing as no W7 phones will work on (HTC Arrive) Boost, I must stick to TP2. Lastly, would you forsee a prob with activated another TP2 for the same account - I'm guessing not.

Thanks DT and anyone else. Glad this thread wasn't closed btw! Peace.

Hey guys, hope you can help me and hope I am posting in the right place. Yes I have read the FAQs, searched threads, and been on the phone with Boost for hours - my head is swimming!!

Simply put, what I want to do is activate my SPRINT Blackberry Curve 8530 on Boost as a pay-as-you-go plan. I have read that this is possible, but 20+reps and supervisors have told me it's not (one tech support guy admitted it was possible to activate the sprint phone, but only as a 60 dollar per month plan - so I told him no thank you. every other rep has insisted it's completely impossible to activate any sprint phone on Boost). I also have a Boost Mobile blackberry 8530, but they will only let me activate that as the monthly unlimited. If there's ANY way to activate EITHER blackberry as a pay-as-you-go phone, I would greatly appreciate some step-by-step advice, I'm kind of a noob, just trying to figure this out because I've read it's possible.

I already have an account with Boost, a SIM that's activated to an old nextel i560 that, alas, will not turn on because it needs a "special code" (even though it worked for the first 24 hours, now the phone is completely unfixable according to sprint, motorola, and boost). But my account is good and attached to that ESN I guess.

Any help would so be appreciated...

(Just for laughs, the END goal is actually much more complicated, I'm trying to port my boost mobile number to a new line on sprint, then activate my other sprint blackberry with the new ported number, then call boost and port OUT what was my old sprint number. I mention this because whatever I "finagle" right now, am I going to mess it all up when I port out my boost number (probably) and then when I port in my sprint number, I'm going to have to go through this whole process again...?)

    Thank you guys!!
