Anyone using an unlocked Tilt 2 on $10 Web plan?

I want to get my wife a TP2, but I'm trying to keep her $10 data plan. I see Tilt 2s floating around for $200 or so on craigslist. Just wondering if I could get it to work with Edge on TMo if it was unlocked.

I believe Tilt 2 not working on TMO 3G AWS band.
it does not make sense to use it on TMO network only EGDE.
it works with $10 Web plan, but not on 3G!

Why don't you buy the T-Mobile TP2 and use it with the $10 web2go? It should work just fine and it's compatible with T-Mobile 3G (AWS). You probably can find those under $200 on craigslist since the HD2 can be found at around $250.
