Pantech Jest - How to disable the keypad lock feature?

Just got my Pantech Jest today from Verizon and like it a lot. I would like to disable the keypad lock feature though. Anybody know how? Thanks!

Didn't see a way to disable it. It certainly would be nice to at least set it for a longer time.

Realize that sliding the phone open slightly will instantly unlock it. That is easier than pushing OK several times. Then if you close it again the front buttons will work for the short time, or it will stay unlocked as long as it is open. You can open it, dial a call, then close it and talk. But some things like playing videos will stop when you close the phone.

i had the same problem, ended up putting a 4 diget code on mine, but wouldnt you know it, i cant remember the code now its stuck asking me for my code and i havent a clue how to unlock the keypad anymore grrrrrrrrr im really not liking this phone
