I have a Samsung R451C with Straight Talk. Is there a way to block someone from calling/texting? It's an ex who won't leave me alone. I don't want to change my number as I have a big contact list and don't want the hassle. Does Straight Talk even block numbers? Thanks!

On the one and only Samsung I own there is a "block list" in the "phone book" section. It looks like you just assign a number to the list. Whether it works or not I dunno.
On LG's I own there is an option to set a contact to "no ring" when assigning different ringtones to different contacts. When the "Ex" calls the phone wont ring but you'll get a "missed call" tone at the end. Its better than checking the phone every time it rings.
Because you want to keep your number Google Voice is not an option but when you block a number with GV the caller gets a "number is not in service" announcement.
not that it would help you but I use google voice and have the calls forwarded to my striaght talk phone so i don't have to give out my real phone number and you can block anyone you want..all for free
