Loose Droid X bottom 4 buttons?

    Hello All,

I am curious if many of the Droid X owners here have loose buttons on their droid. I am specifically talking about the bottom 4 buttons below the screen that include the back and home screen button. After playing with a demo model in store, that is the only thing that I really disliked about the phone.

To be more specific when I say loose, I am specifically talking about the wiggle room and how much the buttons wiggle. If anyone has a droid that has super tight buttons that do not wiggle, could they post up a youtube video of this. I am curious if the buttons are supposed to be loose or not hence the purpose of the thread.

Thanks everyone for reading and adding their insights

Mine are loose. But it's not anything to worry about, IMO.

Mine are super loose and the camera button feels worse.

But I don't care as long as VZW honors my warranty and doesn't try to blame me when the buttons crap out.

    OMG TEH WIGGLE!!!!!

They're just broken in, don't worry about it.

Everytime you don't read the thread before asking your silly question, Verizon delays a new cellphone.
Yes, Verizon did just robbed you.
HAHAHAHA! yeah I'm laughing at you!

I do not have the phone yet, I was just wondering if this is the way they all were.

When you say solid, what does that mean? no wiggle room at all? or they have some wiggle room?

Mine have some wiggle room but I never notice it unless I try and wiggle them. They still press solidly.

Mine seem to be pretty good. No wiggle, mostly. I do notice the home button, which is the most used button, at least for me, has a slight amount of movement, up and down. Not enough to be a concerning factor, yet.

And as the above posted stated, not noticeable unless you try to wiggle them.

I have 3 Droid X's and every one of them has different wiggle room on the buttons. The ones that wiggle the most stick out the furthest too. I find this strange. All 3 were purchased at the same time. One wiggles significantly more than the other two only on the back and search buttons though.

I can tell you that I was one of the first droid x owners and my buttons were loose and I sent mine back for other reasons and my replacment was diferent. Much more secure.

There is a little up-and-down wiggle, but not side-to-side.
=> Read my reviews for the Motorola DROID MAXX, DROID Ultra, and DROID Mini.

I've had three different X's at different times and all three felt about the same as far as play up and down. Nothing to be concerned about that's for sure since I have yet to see anyone have to return their phone because of broken buttons.
