seriously who brings up 2 year old threads?

if you're using 100-200gigs a month you need to find a girlfriend and stop looking at so much porn.

This topic will soon become moot as "unlimited" data plans are being retired and replaced with tiered plans. Then everybody will pay for what they're actually using, as they should.

    PRL Interpretations
    XFF's AlphaTag software
    Cellular and PCS License Maps

If only that were true. Than carriers would price $10/ GB. Everyone would he happy. Even the die hard unlimited users would leave their unlimited plans

Carriers will price tiered data to maximize revenue. My brother and sister in law both pay $30/2GB. They barely use 100mb each month. But are forced to to $30 plan.

And family tiered data plans won't be cheaper either.

I'm sure those of us who do use "extreme" amounts of data will be happy to buy our future devices off-contract to sustain our unlimited plan, as Verizon has stated will happen. We will just need to see if they will throttle such legacy plans as ATT did last year.
