I think he's just jealous because his precious doesn't sport a physical keyboard.

    Apple fanboys are funny...

(To keep this post somewhat on topic, I can't wait to get my hands on this phone...)

You mean no-committment? Upgrades should be $199 because you sign a two-year contract...

I think what blackraven is referring to is that some stores have different prices for new vs upgrade even though both require 2 year contract.

I think it looks really great. Knowing RIM's history it is going to be buggy upon first release. Will need a few software updates before it starts running smoothly. I just wish it was coming to Verizon as that's my work line that I use a Blackberry on.

Rogers (TSX:RCI.B) and Telus (TSX:T.A) say they will offer the new BlackBerry Torch "later this year."

    I just played w/ the 9800. It's freaking sweet....

Almost the same size as the 9700. Just a little wider and a tiny amount thicker. Very good size, IMO...

How is the touch screen? Is it responsive? Does it have that stupid sure press that killed the Storm?

What do you think the no commitment price will be??

Touch screen is very responsive. I would say it's on par with the iPhone touch screen. No SurePress thankfully...

I'm guessing the phone will be about $500+ without a contract...

    Wirelessly posted (BB Bold 9700: BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.743 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

I'm thinking it will be $599 MTM in Canada.
