Installing non-VM apps on Rumor Touch

I got my brand new remanufactured phone from VM today. A week and 3 days later. So, I'm trying to use JContacts back up to move my contacts over.
1 I exported the contacts to my card and it created a text file just fine.
2 I moved card over to the "new" phone
3 I imported the text file and I get a following failed mesage:
- failed to import from serial format: javax.microedition.PIME-Xception: Empty stream or Insufficient data -

Any ideas anyone?

Update: 1
I did it again and exported moved the card and imported and it worked.....to good. Now I have 3 of every contact.....lol

I'm deleting every contact and trying it again.

Update 2 : It worked great. I guess even though it gave me the error message it still worked. Thats why I had 3 of each contact. Oh well it
worked, thats all that matters

Finally got the damn thing to work! Did some modding and lots of experimenting but this is the final result. Remember to download the files needed from the WeTravel website.... http://www.we-travel.co.cc/joomla/in...mid=17&lang=en in order to make it work properly. This version will scan the microsd card on its own and if you have all the files in there just as they suggest, then it will link on its own so no need to fuss. Hope you guys enjoy this, let me know how it goes! Enjoy!

Did you use vcard 3.0? Did you check the file that it created? Is it corrupt somehow? By the way....are you sure its remanufactured? the one I got was new and with v.pv7. Did you use ##rtn# to view the details? It tells you if its reconditioned.

I've reset the old phone to factory and sending it back. They said I've got 45 days to send it, but I want to get it out of my hair.

Did you keep both batteries? They probably want it back too.

LOL i sent the whole phone back but was tempted. It sucks that it took so long for you. Mine was sent out the same day I emailed them and got it the next day. This one is waaaay better.

I'm still waiting for my number to be ported, but what I did I paired my Moto Z3
with the RT and just transfered all my contacts via Bluetooth. So if your old phone is Bluetooth caperable you can try pairing them...worked for me just like copy & paste!

It seems that the site someone made to list the working apps is down... If people are interested I'd be more than happy to get another going. My hosting won't be going down anytime soon... Just let me know if it's wanted.

have you tried https://sites.google.com/site/vmtouchapps/ yet? another site that was already made because the other site was down
