    BREAKTHROUGH TIME!!!

Bolt is now working, I submitted it to http://rumortouchapps.dual-servers.com/browse.php

For those too excited to wait for it to be listed the jar is here http://www.getjar.com/mobile/25910/b...0-rumor-touch/ its up to you to fix the jad like mentioned above, just remember the commas need a space after them.

Very fast in testing, beats opera in speed. going to test video!

    Edit
Can't get video working yet, it will play for the second test but not working on youtube. Very fast web browser!

    Video working on cnn!!

Beware with bolt browser, it is a memory hog I had to pull the battery out when sending it to the background it froze up the os start buttons, could be a glitch that happened once for me. Unlike opera I recommend not leaving it running in the background the phone moves slow, Bolt lite may be a good option to test.

I tested bolt lite off of getjar and it runs nice! No memory hog effect when running in background but you lose advance features and inline editing(inline rocks on full!). I'm keeping both.

Also I've gotten forbidden 2 times while testing, hopefully it will continue to work. Come on VM!

[QUOTE=tcross8361;13950075]Anybody got the full version of glass. The one listed on the site is demo. It looks better than the other players. If I purchased the Full version would you be able to fix the jad file of the full version Bruce?

I believe so. I haven't run in to an jad problem I couldn't fix so far, as of yesterday. But keep in mind just a week ago I had no idea what a jad was, so my smart phone skills are pretty limited yet. What I had planned on doing was taking a good jad for reference and slowly changing the stuff in the bad one until it started working. The first problem I ran in to was the web address, which doesn't work on the Touch. I quickly stumbled on the bad line breaks and so never had to fix anything beyond those 2 items with WordPad. I went back and retried some of my earlier installation failures and was able to fix them all.

    Bruce.

Wow im astonished by how much the OP and others have been able to acomplish over the last few days.

Im completley satisfied with this phone the glass player runs very nicely and once the bolt browser is added to the site i know it will easily replace opera if not used for the majority of my web browsing needs.

I am also curious if there are any fm radio apps compatible with this phone because that would only be a plus!

Thanks everyone for all the work you've done!

Gmail 2.0.6 has been submitted and working great!

Edit: The full Bolt browser while being amazing when first started is still giving me issues after prolonged use, the video being very buggy, slowing phone, and occasional phone restarts on exit. They are really close to having a excellent browser for the rumor touch, perhaps a future version will fix the issues. I am using Bolt lite without any issues yet, still like it better than opera even though it doesn't have the polished UI and browsing feel opera has.

This has been a great few days! I just hope VM doesn't try to block app install with a update, come on

Ok so I went online to search for other possible browsers that might work on the LGRT:

    UCWEB 7.2 - http://www.mediafire.com/?yxvxr3xdu2f1yax

    TeaShark .09 - http://www.mediafire.com/?aioluqeafnaunaa

    As for the Glass player, I found a "full/non demo"; Ver. 1.1 - http://www.mediafire.com/?ay5hz53i5oyuu5h

I made the .jad files using the Win exe called "jadgen" so Im not sure if you will get them to work. I suggest you guys making your own if you get errors since I cant test these out. Post your results and if they work, upload them to the site. Thanx

now that glass player is working well the next battlefront is turn by turn voice GPS and a decent email notifier. I'm praying that all of our hard work isnt in vain during the next firmware update whenever that is...

doesnt work.. the jad txt is so little in comparison to the 3.0 demo version (which finally works now), ill try to play around with the txt of the full version. but if someone finds a version 3.0 full that would be greeeattt

Ok guys I found a way how to download music ON- THE GO! onto your touch by just using your phone! no computer needed this is what you do.

1: On your rumor touch go to opera mini

2: google search " binary booty" that is a website where you can upload/download songs

    3. search for the song you want and download it, on your touch when you select download a menu should pop up, scroll down to save it to your memory card. From there it will start to download. Be patient! DO NOT exit out of Opera mini while it's downloading or you will have to download it again. Just wait, if you want to see the progress of the download go to downloads in opera mini.

    4. after it is done downloading go to your Mass storage on your Touch and it should be in there. For me mines was under Wallpapers, (which I created) its weird that it would be under there instead of Sounds but w/e.

Other Notes: if you cant find a song you want to download on the site just upload your personal song then download it.
