    Memory is full

Hey everyone. I have the Tracfone Motorola W376g and i am seeing on the display that my memory is full. I tried a google search and searching these forums but didn't come up with any definate answer.

What do i need to clean out and what usually takes up the most memory?

    Thanks, Jerry.

Lately when i download messages i can wait forever and nothing ever comes through, just the waiting on download message. Could this have anything to do with that?

Hi! If your phone has a camera and you use it to take pictures, it is probably saving the pictures on the phone, which uses your internal memory on the phone. Another thought, if you save your text msgs (send & receive) on your phone and never delete them, that too uses your internal memory on the phone. Your call logs (dial & received calls), could take up some internal memory.

Looking up the specs for W376, it looks like the phone has about 10MB of internal memory for storage. There might be a menu option on your phone that shows you how much internal memory you have left.

    Hope this helps....

I did delete about 10 pictures but if i remember right, it said it had around 7mb left before i deleted them.

But after i got rid of a few it no longer says memory full.

Try deleting your old received and sent messages in your message box. If you sent pics as attachments in messages, the mesage sizes are large due to those attachments. The same goes for received messages with large attachments. If you delete these received and sent messages, it will help clear up some memory space. This also goes for anything you might have in draft or stuck in your outbox. Delete them.

    Hope it helps.

your text messages need to be deleted. tracfones don't have much memory in them.
