Okay, so here's a project I decided to start working on the other day and now it is complete and seems to be working well for Boost, Sprint and Virgin ESN/MEIDs.

Interesting, how does it work? How does it know what's valid and not? I'm wondering why Sprint doesn't have an official one if it doesn't require calling in.

I tried the Rumor Touch I just ordered from ebay and it says: "The ESN/MEID you provided is currently in use or tied to another account." Is there any way I can untie/remove it from the other account?

Did you buy it used? The seller might still be using it. If they know what they're doing, it should clear after it ships.

What if it doesn't clear after it ships? Is there anything I can do? I know I could find the phone number through ##847336# but that doesn't seem like it would help since I wouldn't have a vkey or anything. Ugh, I knew it was too good of a deal to be true.

How accurate is this? I found an sprint phone months ago and I gonna try to sell it, (yes, I tried to contact the owner but it has a password to get to the menu, messages, everything so I could not get any numbers to try to contact the owner) it says the ESN is clear

If it says it's clean, then it's clean.

It was very accurate on the ESN I entered in. BTW, I contacted VM and they said the ESN will be clear after 120 days has passed since the account became inactive, and I have about a month left, so I'm trying to wait patiently.

Guys, this morning I added the ability to check multiple ESNs or MEIDs at one time, up to 8 actually.

Hopefully this will be useful for those who need to check several.
