[HELP] Rumor Touch: how do you update firmware version VM510PV5 to VM510PV7?

hey guys i was just wondering if there was a way to update the firmware on the rumor touch. lg.com has posted a software update for the LG VM510 which you can see here:

the current software version we have on our phones is VM510PV5 and with the LG Mobile Support Tool you can update it to VM510PV7. so last night i downloaded the support tool and and it installed perfectly onto my PC. i ran it and installed the drivers for my computer to recognize the phone when its plugged in via the USB cable. after all the drivers were installed the next step was to plug in my phone.

so i plugged in my phone but my computer did not recognize it. at first my computer says, "searching for drivers" after a few seconds it then says, "a problem occurred during hardware installation. your new hardware might not work properly" since my computer doesnt recognize my phone, the support tool also did not recognize it and i cant update the firmware

does anybody else have this problem too? anybody have any solutions? if anybody has any suggestions on what to do please post here because i would like to see the new firmware for this phone

Unlock it first (as)
download a file (pdf) that is heavy
, to open later in the cell,
and installs the driver cell
(this is the most importamt)
then go to Start / main menu / mass storage / file manager and select the pdf and connect the cable,
waiting for the pc install the cell phone peripheral
