I'm having a problem with the Gallery program on my Nexus One. Whenever I delete a photo it will succesfully delete, but the next time I launch the program the photo is still there.
I have already tried turning off Picasa web sync (I don't use Picasa anyways). The only way I can get it to permanently delete is by putting the SD into my computer and manually deleting it, but this is hardly an efficient method to simply delete a photo!
As well, there's this one photo that I sent as an MMS, which is in a folder called 'scrapSpace', but when I look-up that folder on the SD, there are no photos there (I've tried showing hidden files...), where else could this photo be saved?
So, how can I fix it so that when I delete a photo, it stays deleted???
The scrapSpace folder is probably hidden if it's not stored elsewhere.
I googled your problem and I see a bunch of topics on the same issue. Most say Picasa is the cause but you said you already unsync'd the account, have you tried a master reset?
I have a HTC G2 and i had downloaded 2 pictures from my gmail. and now i can't delete it. I factory resetted my phone. I hold on the picture and i doesn't even give me a delete option. all it says is detail info, or set as wallpaper. I really want to delete this picture but I can't can u please help me.
thanks I'll try that. But now theres a new problem with it. the screen it blank. when i turn on the phone it starts up and everything just after it says G2 to take u to the main screen it goes blank. Y is it doing that?
