Does anyone have the P-02B? I just got a pink one to use a new hypersim on and it will let me call and receive but no SMS. Is this similar to the SO905iCS issue?

Yes there was. UIM not recognized.

oh ok, that was the experience i got with the mrsim on tmobile or att using my old p905i, however i havent tried it on newer versions to see if it went away, I know on the nec's it did the same for me, but the newest version of mrsim i have it worked on my n-02a and fixed the sms issue.
BTW is your address book taking forever to read or not read? that was another common thing i encountered on the older versions of mrsim software using p or n

I have not put the address book into it. Long story short this P-02B is for a friend I had previously tried my ismartphone 2008 in it and did not pick up signal however i am going to try to do it with it again and see what happens.
So basically i should just update the the MR-Sim and then go from there???

yeah, you'll have to update it most likely to 2.2.3 and probably need to select one of the panasonic profiles, probably the newest phone on the list most likely p-01a i beleive., they should be similar. Weird that the ismartphone 2008 doesnt work, what color? and error when using hypersim? and its in correctly? p-02b slot tricky?

It is a black one. I am going to try again in just a little bit. My friend it is for her the P-02B she wanted it. Now she wants to trade me the P-02B for my SH906i. I told her if she includes the charger dock and the 16GB Memory card she has a deal! I know i can hopefully figure it all out to make SMS work and then if so i win in the end.

oh ok, my black one does the same thing on the p906i, I use some no name hypersim that a seller form nj on ebay usually sells. i think that hypersim had no issues on sharps, but did on nec and panasonics. I never had a yellow one to try out. the dapeng a2 hypersim works with the panasonics and nec's

Yeah last night we met up and I tried to use mine in there no signal, just said UIM Error. Then i tried his sim and got same thing. He said when i gave him a "unprogrammed" MR-SIM on his T-Mo it worked but ONLY calls. So i tried my sim in it with the MR-SIM and nothing happened...
Would an iNex just fix all of this? Because if so I may just buy one and suck it up. At least then I will have a solid more reliable hypersim.
