HTC Desire, Factory Unlocked vs Telus Unlocked (Via a online code) ??

Not sure if this might be a dumb question or not but I have seen these phone listed as Factory Unlocked and then Telus Unlocked, is there a difference?

I know unlocking the phone will let you use the phone on any carrier but is I get a Telus Desire and use the online unlock, is there something else that is
locked" vs the factory unlocked one?

So I guess my question do I buy the Telus Desire and unlock it or go for the factory unlocked?

Where do you see factory unlocked versions sold? I think those may be European or Ausralian versions missing either 850 or 1900 3G.

Oh woops I am sorry I just saw it saying "This Device is Branded Telus" on the way bottom of the page, my bad, I apologize. It didn't say Telus anywhere near the top that I saw so I wasn't sure.

I had a Telus Hero, it had zero Telus branding in the firmware, the phone did not even had any Telus logo on it. Hope the Desire is the same

No Telus branding at all on the phone. The boot logo is HTC and not Telus. No Telus specific apps either. No Telus physical branding on the phone at all. I think that the only thing that said Telus was a bookmark in the web browser.
