I need serious help wth my old alltel phone

I really need help here. I called verizon today and they said they couldn't activate my prepaid alltel phone for me because it was disactivated for over 90 days and they don't do it for alltel customers anymore. Does anyone know a prepaid service for my phone where i they can activate it with them for me? This phone was kind of expensive and i don't want to consider buying one of Verizon's phones.

I've activated really old, deactivated for at least a year (the phone sat in my daughter car that long) Alltel phones on Page Plus. You can try to activate it here for free or pay to have the ESN checked at. Kitty wireless. They wont let me post the URL...google it.

Verizon does not allow Page Plus to activate formerly prepaid phones from Alltel. They are forcing people to buy Verizon prepaid phones for Verizon prepaid plans and Page Plus phones for Page Plus plans (find an online dealer). Alltel phones are not to be activated at this time. I don't even know if current subscribers at the time of merger were grandfathered into the old Alltel phones and plans. Now, POSTPAID Verizon phones can be activated on Page Plus, but not prepaid versions (due to heavy subsidy on Verizon's part).
