Unlock Moto Charm

Hey guys, I just bough a motorola charm from Telus, I was wondering how I can unlock it.

Also, does anyone know if this phone will be able to fall on Roger's 2g gsm network? I know that 3g hsdpa will work, but I'm wondering if it will be able to use the 2g gsm bands as well, I know that some phone from telus can do this once on rogers

Hey, I am also interested in this. got this phone earlier this week for my girlfriend, but IM loving it!

for the price this is such a great phone!

The one site I found so far was unlockallcellular.com I'm not sure if they are reliable, but when I did a google search for them a few results came up with people saying they have unlocked phones with them in the past.

They look pretty trustworthy based on the fact that they are honest and say they cannot unlock the Bell Samsung Galaxy s Vibrant. But right now this is not enough for me to go on.

anyone else find any sites or stores?

will the telus motorla charm work on rogers 3g network when unlocked?

Yes it will. It supports 3G 850/1900... which means it would work on Bell, Telus, Rogers and Fido 3G.

Thanks, I will seriously consider buying one of these now. Oh and do the guys looking for an unlock , i called http://www.cellunlocker.net/ earlier today and they said they could do it, I did not get a price though. They are located in Vancouver

Hey guys, I put my IMEI into the checking system at mobileincanada.com and it came back with "Yes we can unlock your motorola charm"

so I took the plunge, now I'm just waiting on it. It is currently at the verification stage.

I went with mobileincanada for charm as well... and they returned the code to me... but the phone is locked... WTF?? they haven't gotten back to me yet...

Ya, waiting on cellunlock.net myself, they had the same issue, first few codes didn't work. Hopefully this little beast doesn't put up too much of a fight.

FFyi, i noticed is that if you switch the battery profile to performance it makes a noticeable difference, its a lot peppier.

Hey, so mobileincanada refunded my money and said they could not get the code. I emailed them to find out what happened and if I should try again, still waiting on a response.

I purchased the phone and an unlock code from eBay.
However, we have not yet been able to make it work.
Has anyone out there got the Motorola Charm from Telus unlocked?

Who would have thought it would be so hard to unlock this $200 phone??
Perhaps I should have splurged on a bell galaxy S... At least the unlock code is on the phone!!!
