Just please, please, please let Android be Android. I had so much hope with the release of the OG Droid w/ all it's openness. And now look what we've got...google search locked out of it's own operating system and uninstallable crapware.

It can be MotoBlurry, so long as I can avoid getting any on me.
Same here except i would up the camera count to 3, 1 on the front for video chat and two on the back at intersecting line of sights for 3D pictures and video.

Why is there an interest in dual video cameras? How much video conferencing is done on a phone?

Well since most phones don't have it, not much. How much video conferencing was done on computers before web cams? I think if all phones offered it people would begin to use it more. I know I would. That's just my opinion though.

This must be in the realm of 'different strokes'. I would want a much faster processor with upgraded software to remove the lagging.

In the US, I would agree. In Europe and Japan however, its been around for awhile and its growing (more so in Japan and Korea).

Verizon Dropping Google Search From All Future Androids?
Here’s where the story gets interesting. 2 of our Verizon tipsters, including the one who substantiated those HTC Merge photos back on August 4th, have told us that Verizon is dropping the Google Search from all future Android Devices and offering Bing in it’s place.

We've heard some unconfirmed reports that Verizon may possibly be ditching Google for their Droid lineup as well.

I really hope this isn't true. I generally like Verizon, but this is just not a good idea.

Think we can breathe a sigh of relief?

So I have a 2 year upgrade available and even Verizon is hassling me about using it now via text.

The Droid X is old-hat for me at this point so any news regarding this "superphone" would be awesome. I suspect I will have to wait till Q1 though.

Get the X...or you will end up waiting for the latest and greatest... finally pull the trigger in Dec/Jan...and have to wait longer and longer when it does eventually come out (due to back order). Just last week I finally decided to do the same...X should be here within 2 weeks.

It depends on how long you want to wait. My Droid still works well enough, but for a much superior phone, I can wait for it or when the LTE phones appear.
Is there anything new on what the phone will be called or its code name?
