My concern is that this phone is out in January and in April the equivalent phone is out but with LTE.
I might agree if the innards were not D2 hardware(or its equivalent). BY HoFo standanrds I will be waiting Way too long by the time 2d quarter 2011 starts.
So would I. Too many vague predictions.
i don't know why people are so geeked up about LTE. it means the introduction of tiered data pricing and the possibility of the demise of unlimited data (ala AT&T). we won't know for sure until everything starts rolling out, but there's enough media coverage to suggest that these carriers are more interested in the bottom line than customer satisfaction.
Unlimited data for Verizon will be dead within 4-6 months

Tiered pricing may be better for some. I would not turn down this phone if it "magically" had LTE capacities.
I really cant wait for this phone to come out >.< I've been waiting for the perfect phone to jump to from my crappy iphone and i know this is gonna be it. I just hope it comes out in December and not any later.
Sure it will cost more, and I would expect it to. Early tests say it will be up to 10x faster than 3g with the ability to connect my other devices to it. I would consider abandoning my home network if the speeds are high enough. Tiered pricing simply means you get what you pay for and visa versa.
This phone however will not be LTE from what I gather from all the different leaks/reports. I am willing to buy a super phone on the 3g network and then wait another year for my next upgrade (fall 2011) when the 4g network is well established and covers my semi-suburban area in San Diego.
All of the hints seem to indicate January at the earliest, and no LTE capacities

I seriously doubt that this amazing super phone will come out next year amidst an already activated Lte network and NOT have Lte capabilities. And if my theory is correct Verizon is going to have another Droid like launch in which the phone is the first to have the newest version of android, and with their Lte network active Lte would be some serious icing to leave off the cake
I would prefer it for Black Friday. If that were the case, where are the more substantive leaks?
the Motorola Venus sounds like the phone I want. Hopefully the screen is a good size, good camera, and no blur
