I should have typed that you use either the LTE/CDMA radios in the US or GSM while traveling. Maybe antennae placement is a problem? Why should power management be any more difficult for this phone?

This post is meant to recap everything I have learned and provide a few new tips so that all you wannabe ninjas can go out and unearth some new info. Until I have some hard evidence to provide you (like pics or video), I promise I will stop pumping this story until something big breaks.

For starters, Terminator is not the name of any actual product. It was a nickname that came up when we shortened Tegra 2 to just T2.
That post is from the 13th of October. The author promised to post more info when he hears about it... but there are not newer blog entries.
The last comment on that post is from October 26th. It links to this image-

I think that 13-Oct post has as much info as anyone in the general public does at this moment.

What I do know, is that with the impending release of the Incredible HD/Merge/Whatever, the Nexus S, and the other "flagship" Samsung device that leaked today, Moto is going to have their work cut out for them. I'm a Moto guy through and through, so I'll wait to see what they have to counter with, but I won't be disappointed at all "settling" for any of these other devices.

I now wonder if another(Verizon) phone will come out with similar specs before the Motorola one does?

Wishful thinking. I'm pretty sure that nothing significant in terms of smartphones is coming out on Verizon until sometime next year. A damn shame for those of us with upgrades. My Droid 1 is a good phone. If I had no upgrade I'd be fine with it so that says it all.

I am eligible for an upgrade, which make the wait harder.

I want my next smartphone to have a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen or something equivalent so I'm still waiting. Nice options but not what I want.

4+" screen with better than WVGA, besides the T2 platform, Gingerbread and a decently large battery in amp-hours.

    black_man_x:
I speak on the new moto device n then BGR has a post talking bout the motopad! Maybe I should share specs before I take off?

    black_man_x:
Course the companion phone is more exciting to me..

So now there's another source plugging the relationship between the Moto tablet (Stingray?) and phone (Olympus/Etna), hinting that they will have comparable specs. Two sources, several weeks apart.

Oh, and a few days ago:

    androidandme:
Congrats to @Engadget for posting the Nexus S pics! I think next week we will have some pics of an even more exciting Android phone...

Time for some more leaks on this phone?

I'm pretty sure the phone @androidandme is referencing in your quote is the HTC Incredible HD
