I have had my Droid on P+ for a couple months now. It works just fine and I have rooted the phone and use the stock 2.2 data switch when in WiFi zones. One issue with my service is that P+ has no idea of how, when or on what most of the 3G data is being used. For some data use they have a 9 digit number and a certain amount of minutes to indicate data use. Hwever, I have used data and it has not showed up in the call record. It is subtracted in total though. If you want a break down of when and where you are using data it doesn't seem that P+ can tell you on your droid... just that you used it sometime for something. This I don't care for.

Calling up CS gave me a rep who told me without even a thought that if I use my WiFi connection the amount of data used is deducted from the 3G total so that is why I had MBs of data charged with no record of when they were used. I said thank you very kindly and hung up. D/l'd a data counter from the Market and now I can tell when data is used and for what. Much better!

And I bet you noticed right away that the csr was fulla crap about wifi usage be docked as data usage eh?
I recently tested the "don't mention a PP Dealer by name" rule here on PP Hofo......trust me, it is still in effect - got me a 7 day ban.

I activated a Motorola Droid on August 30 no problems. I downloaded the GTW Data Widget and have been using it for 3 days now although I did end up using up about 19MB of data so far. I like it cuz I have wifi at work and it works just fine. I have been thinking of calling them to try and switch the Droid to my BB 9630 Tour though cuz I can type much faster on the BB's keyboard. Anyone know if I will be able to switch to the Tour?????

You can try. The worst thing that will happen is that it doesnt go through.
With that said, its unlikely that the ESN will clear the filter.

Holy ****. My post was deleted. I can't mention the name of a Page Plug dealer?

If you want to activate online, I would suggest googling 'online page plus dealer', and pick one. Just do the activation, and you will receive an e-mail with the activation instructions.

I've activated Droid Eris about 5 months ago switching from HTC Touch Pro and I love it. I paid $120 for it back then. I then rooted the Eris and notice that my TnT 1200 data never show usage so I never turn the data off. I just recently switch to Incredible (paid $150) and this phone is sweet. I haven't rooted yet but I did notice now my data usage is decreasing so I normally turn it off and use mostly wifi. Everything else works normal with data turn off except for mms. PP service is great so far, no issue on droids...

How do you like your incredible compared to your Eris? I'm thinking of upgrading and noticed there are a lot of incredible's on craigslist for a decent price.

Page Plus certainly does, if you activate through their website. I would think that dealers would be able to do the same thing.

I could just activate through page plus' site, but I don't know if there are any special instructions for a Droid. Anyone know?

May I ask where you found a Droid Incredible for $150 and in what condition? Clean ESN? I could find one for $150 but the front screen is cracked...otherwise in good condition and clean esn is about $300.
