Droid docs work with D2 or Dx and upgrade questions

After doing a reboot on my original droid this morning it is freezing up and having to do multiple battery pulls to get it to respond.

I am thinking of calling verizon to try to get a replacement, or even better upgrade to Dx or D2.

I am really torn on which one to go with. I don't ever use the physical keyboard on the original droid so that is not a selling point. On the other hand I am not sold on a bigger screen since that means a bigger phone to have in my pocket. Decisions decisions decisions....

One thing that might make the decision easier is the docks. I currently have the home dock and the car dock for the original droid and use them all the time. I am assuming that since the dx is larger it will not work with either, but what about the d2? If I have to go buy new home dock, car dock, case, that might make or break the decision to even try for an upgrade.

I think I remember somebody posting that the Droid1 home dock worked, but not the car dock. Hopefully somebody that actually has the phone can verify for us.
