Went to Cricket and they toll me to try your user name and the password null (it's the default password for the pattern lock) ... it worked for me ...

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! This worked for me 100% DIDN'T LOSE ANYTHING!!! I was playing with the pattern lock feature, and wanted to see what type of password retrieval system they had in case I forgot the swipe pattern, so I INTENTIONALLY hit the 'I forgot my password' button of doom (I know, stupid, right?).... couldn't get back into my phone forthe LIFE OF ME. SO FRUSTRATING.

Typed in my gmail username, and used the password: null

Phone unlocked and all my info was safe and sound.

Hard Reset.

1. Power down the phone
2. Hold down the volume up, end key, trackball and send key simultaneously.
3. Phone boots. After it vibrates you let go.

Phone is completely reset as if it came out of the box. You'll need to *228 and reload ALL of your data.

It means hold those individual keys simultaneously. If your phone is suspended for non pay you can still reset it.
