For those of you who are having trouble installing java games on your w518a, here's what I figured out:
1. Save the game file onto your memory card
2. Go into the settings and turn off your left and right navigation keys shortcuts (settings – general – shortcuts)
3. Go to the screen you get when you open the phone (with your background and carrier name and clock and such)
4. Type in > * < < * < * (those arrows are the corresponding directions on the wheel)
5. This is the Service / Engineering Menu. Go to “Service Settings”
6. Turn on “java developer mode”
7. Go to where you have your game file stored on your memory card
8. Highlight the title of the game, and click install, and answer any following questions.
9. When you’re done installing games, turn off java developer mode. Then turn your shortcuts back on.
When I did it, I just used the same files I had gotten off of my V3xx's memory card. Of all of the ones I had, some had JAD files, but all also included JAR files. So, I think the JAR is necessary. There are converters out there if you need one. I just can't think of one off the top of my head. Try Google. Good luck!
